A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission Empty
PostSubject: A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission   A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission I_icon_minitimeSun Feb 10, 2013 4:00 pm

I'll accept three to five players for this game.

Most races should be fine, but nothing silly like stalfos, redead, peahats, or like likes.

The standard creation process applies:
3 hearts
Name
Race
Courage, Wisdom, or Power
A brief story

Things I require for your characters:
- Your greatest virtue
- Your greatest flaw
- Something that makes your character special (were your born under a constellation or do you bare the mark of a goddess?)
- Something important your character lost
- A distinguishing visual quality (a scar over an eye, a metal arm, tattoos on your face...)

There will be a post in the Legendarium discussing the state of the world in Hyrule for this campaign.

A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission   A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission I_icon_minitimeSun Feb 10, 2013 5:26 pm

Name: Lord Gerome Feronis
Race: Hylian
Affinity: Power

Gerome Feronis was a high ranking noble under the mad king of Hyrule. He joined the military at a young age, for posterity at first, but after experiencing the thrill of battle and warfare he stayed and rose through the ranks. He underwent the training to become an Iron Knuckle, and that was where he really flourished. Despite his time in the military he was not a harsh man, no more than a commander needed to be to stay in control of his troops. As time went on he began to see the madness of the king's requests for the military, but there wasn't much he could do, for risk of losing not only hid life, but possibly those of his troops. Then there came the fateful day during the western campaigns. He was leading his troops in a battle that they were severely under prepared for, and reinforcements that should have come to cover him never came. He had been betrayed, the mad king suspected he was going to betray the crown, so he tried to have him killed off in the cleanest way possible. He was surrounded, and thought himself dead. The rebels though decided to keep him alive, hoping to learn secrets of the kingdom from him. It was then that Feronis made a decision. These rebels were fighting for something good, and the king really had gone mad. Over the next few months he won their trust, and before too long was trusted with leading some of the rebel troops to fight against the mad king. But the rebels can't hold out forever. They are undermanned, under supplied, and just lack the resources to withstand the advances of the kings army indefinitely. If they're going to pull this off they're going to need an edge. And maybe it's time we went looking for that edge.

Greatest virtue: care for his men that serve under him
Greatest flaw: big risk-taker
Special character trait: was once a lord of Hyrule
Something lost: my men, my rank, everything at the hands of the mad king
Distinguishing visual quality: aside from Iron Knuckle armor, a large scar across his chest

(let me know if any of this doesn't fit with the world, I may have taken a few liberties with some things)

A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission   A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission I_icon_minitimeSun Feb 10, 2013 9:34 pm

The standard creation process applies:
<3 <3 <3
Name: Uguns
Race: Deku Scrub
Affinity: Power

Our Story begins at twilight. Isn't that always the case? Uguns is your typical palace guard, and has been guarding Deku palace for all of his sentient life. Unlike quite a bit of his kin, Uguns had the unique capacity to wield a sword. Mostly because he had arms. But also, he cared enough to learn how. Uguns became the first Official Knight of the Falling Leaf (An order created specifically by her Ladyship, the Deku Queen after the destruction of the hidden temple in the Swamp). Uguns is Knight-Captain of the order, and as such is trained with both sword and shield, as well as the use of the Deku Bubble, and Deku Nuts. Uguns has since left the safety of the Deku Palace to search for the next Hero of Termina in order to train the youth for combat.

Unbeknownst to Uguns, his swordsmanship is mediocre at best. He just happens to be the ONLY Deku Scrub who wields a sword.

Things I require for your characters:
- Greatest Virtue: Valor
- Greatest Flaw: Arrogance
- Something that makes Uguns special : Uguns carries the Seal of the Deku Kingdom, and is considered their official Emissary
- Something important Uguns lost: The Deku sword: A wooden sword that resists fire as if it were made of stone, and cuts as if it were made of steel.
- A distinguishing visual quality : Uguns has green and purple head leaves, instead of green and red. His Leaf-garb is blue, instead of red.

Inventory:
1 Piece of Heart
Deku Sticks (3)
Din's Lantern (9 Charges)
Bottle of Dirty Water

The standard creation process applies:
3 hearts
Player Name: Andy
Character Name: Lock Sleyborin
Affinity: Courage
Race: Hylian
Courage

*SORRY IT'S SO LONG!!

Lock was born in the Ordona Province, but lived in Kakariko village for most of his life. He always had an affinity for nature and played as a child in the Ordona Woods, making friends with the creatures that lived there. When he moved to Kakariko village, he continued his behavior, despite his parents' warnings in the forbidden realm known as the Lost Woods. His knowledge of the forests however made him fast friends with the Kokiri nearby who protected him from the fate that children from the outside often face. One Kokiri in particular, Tucker, became his closest friend. Eventually, Lock came to know and befriend even the Skull Children themselves, though he never quite could understand what they said. The Skull Children came to despise Lock as is often the case when Hylians become adults, but Lock continued to love them all the same.

As an adult, Lock took a job as a village guard and met a young girl named Matilda who he fell in love with and later wedded. The wedding took place on the edge of the wood so that Tucker and his friends could all attend.

Not long after the wedding, Matilda gave birth to a son named Notting, much to the delight of her husband. Lock removed his green cap, placed it on his son's head, naming him his little adventurer. But Notting could not live up to the title his father gave him. Notting grew up in the shadow of the forest just as his father did, but he did not share the same affinity for nature. Despite the proddings of Lock and the assistance of Tucker, the littlest Sleyborin could not get a hold of the twists and turns of the Lost Woods. Lock's life changed the day that his son disappeared.

For months, he and Tucker searched for Notting, while Matilda remained silent and cold to him. He tried not to feed his suspicion that she blamed him for their son's fate. After far too long, Tucker sent for Lock with news that a child with a green cap had been spotted skipping through the woods. The child was strange. His face was darkened and his eyes gave off an eerie red glow.

Lock braved the woods in the area his son had been spotted and found an empty shell of a child. He tried to communicate, but shell-Notting became violent and fled. Weeks passed as Lock pleaded with Matilda to follow him in to visit, thinking that seeing his parents together would help bring their child to his senses. Lock finally convinced his hysterical wife to follow him into the woods, but seeing her baby as a twisted demon broke her. Notting attacked his mother. She receded into herself and died from grief soon after.

In the meantime, the king sent logging camps to cut down sacred trees from the edge of the Lost Woods. Tucker pleaded with Lock to convince the Kakariko citizens to do something about the logging, which he believed would have permanent consequences for the entire province. Lock, having only his friends and his son remaining, convinced the craziest Kakariko citizens (including Wild John, an old, but strong Hylian war veteran) and a reluctant Tucker into raiding an unprepared logging camp.

As his only outlet, raiding logging camps to protect his friends and his son became central to Lock's identity. Having tried relentlessly to communicate with Notting, fighting back against the King's camps became the only way he could prove his devotion. He passed his limited training as a guard onto his ragtag group and honed his own abilities. With the king's stolen weapons in hand, their band of vigilantes became notorious in the province. The king began putting more and more effort into protecting his loggers and placed a warrant on the head of their leader.

However, despite their renown, the attacks on the camps were limited. The loggers made progress despite the relentless raids and soon Lock knew that he would have to go in search of help. He left the camp in the charge of Tucker and John and ventured out in search of the Freedom Fighter movement. Tucker promised that he would watch out for Notting and made note that the Spirit Temple may hold the secrets of reversing the fate of a Skull Kid.

- Greatest Virtue: Selflessness
- Greatest Flaw: Cynicism
- Special Because: He is a semi well-known outlaw
- Lost: His family
- Often wears a mask and a cap with the feather of an ancient red bird protruding from it

A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission   A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission I_icon_minitimeMon Feb 11, 2013 4:39 pm

<3 <3 <3
Name: Daridus
Race: Goron
Affinity: Wisdom

Hearty mountain people, the Gorons. Known equally well for their hard work and hard lounging, Daridus is proud of just such a heritage, considering an ideal day to be one spent seated on a good rock, perusing a new tome of stories, or sharing them with new friends.

For most of his long life the rumbling giant was content to share the time honored tails of his people with his people, until a spritely young Hylilian crossed his path and introduced him to wonderful new tales from afar, tales such as that of the legendary Hero of Time and the constant dangers to the Tri-Force by creatures and men of evil. These just a tip of the proverbial iceberg, Daridus knew that home would not be enough anymore, for stories and journeys were just waiting to be had.

After a raucous goodbye party filled with beating drums, whistling flutes, and bass tone songs, his people sent him on into the world with naught but loin cloth, sandals, and walking stick. To find and return with the greatest tales and ballads of lore Hyrule has to offer.

Daridus is a large and rotund member of his species, as most are, but his eyes reveal his kindness in most things. Friend to the small and defenseless, he has time for the little creatures such as the butterflies and birds, but little patience for the things which lay waste to beauty, offering them the knotted end of his walking branch in swift repudiation. His skin is a mixture of rust-colored flesh and calcified growths at the shoulders and joints, giving the appearance of rocks protruding from his frame. What little hair he has is a black ring pulled tight back to a knot in a style he once read warriors from another land wear for efficiency.

The roaming mountain is not without flaws, perhaps his greatest virtue and deepest failing are one in the same - he is a wanderer with strange priorities. The Goron's detachment from the rest of the world, instead favoring his stories, have led him to make erratic and even heinous choices in the past. One such choice led to terrible loss, the loss of a life. Daridus will not speak of this moment, this deep pain where his covetous pursuit of lore resulted in the death of another...

OOC: For those who remember the previous play by post Zelda game, this of course another version of the same Daridus I played then. I liked the song-parodying big lug and never felt like he played out fully.

Greatest Virtue: A dedication to the pursuit of knowledge and lore.
Greatest Flaw: His aforementioned dedication may lead to mistakes or blind spots in his adventures.
Special Because: Descendant of the Goron Fire Sage, but does not realize this fact.
Lost: A life due to his confused and twisted priorities, a failure to make "The Hero's Choice".

A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission   A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission I_icon_minitimeMon Feb 11, 2013 6:46 pm

The standard creation process applies:
3 hearts
Player Name: Chance
Character Name: Redo
Race: Kokiri
Affinity: Courage

Redo was raised in a small Kokiri village near the outskirts of the Lost Woods. The location was perfect, the right distance from the outside world, a perfect clearing, and as close the the Great Deku Tree as anyone needs to be. Here he lived happily with his fairy Kali and a group of close friends. It turns out the clearing was also a prime location for a Hylian industrial camp. The Hylians brutally forced out the Kokiri natives and seized the land for the Mad King.

The Kokiri divided, some moving to different villages, some trying to make it on their own. Redo and Kali decided to set out and make a plea for help in Kakariko, ignoring the old legends about what happens when one leaves the forest. Along the road, Redo was ambushed by a horde of Stalchildren. Unable to escape together, Kali took her chance and threw herself into the horde to distract the monsters. She flew around their heads and called out but they eventually caught her. Redo didn't hear much as he ran in the dark, but he knew in his heart what just happened.

In a twist of fate, Redo found himself near Castle Town. Completely disheartened after the loss of his companion, he decided to make due and snuck into the town unnoticed. He quickly learned that he could go unnoticed most of the time and set up a home in a small alley. He discarded his signature green tunic in favor of commoner children clothes to better aid his survival. Redo learned to steal to eat. He took food from merchants at first, often getting caught but let off with a warning due to his stature. Soon he graduated to picking pockets and cutting purses and became quite good. Until one day, where he found a great purse on a heavily armored man, and took his greatest take to date.

The man was Captain Flynt of the Hylian army. The man was easily able to pin Redo as a thief and there was no warning in this man's heart. He captured the child and threw him into his Hylian army battalion. The man had no care for the safety of children and intended to force his new prisoner to fight. After a brutal and quick combat training, the battalion set off to attack a nearby Gerudo rebellion. Redo learned that he was to be on the front line of the assault and formed a plan of his own. That night, he snuck up to the night watch and slit his throat, fleeing in the night. He was able to use his skills to remain unnoticed and successfully deserted the army. Having heard of resistances nearby, he ran without thinking to join and fight the Mad King's reign. His mind was set on justice. His heart was set on revenge.

Greatest virtue: Dedication
Greatest Flaw: Complete recklessness
Special Because: Only known Kokiri to live outside of the Lost Woods (with horrific consequences yet unknown to Redo)
Lost: His home and only companion
Visual Quality: Short and childlike, sickly in the face

A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission M98yDn1A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission M98yDn1A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission M98yDn1

Descending from a noble family of Hyrule, Jason was brought up civil and proper. Though this life never suited him, he spent most of his time sneaking out of his father's castle to play in the back alleys of his hometown where he lived a life he considered worth living. At Sixteen he left home to see the world. Using skills he picked up from the alleys, Jason travels the country side hoping to leave his mark on the world.

Jason is a man of principle, at least when it's convenient. He is fair to those who deserve it, but has no problem lying to liars, cheating cheaters, or betraying betrayers. He can't often say no to those in need, and it often sidetracks him for his goal:

He is currently searching for a sword of legend. A sword said to be hidden away by one of the Great Fairies.

Name: Jason Reid
Race: Hylian
Affinity: Courage

Virtue: Gutsy
Flaw: Doesn't know when to quit
Special Because:He is a Hero
Loss: His family was put to the sword for going against the king. Doesn't know this because he has been away for so long, and will blame himself for leaving them.

Name: Baruud
Race: Gerudo
Affinity: Courage

Virtue: kindness
Flaw: inflated sense of self-importance
Special because: one of the few males born recently to the Gerudo desert tribe
Loss: home and status amongst his tribe

Baruud began his life the way most male Gerudo do, by being doted and fawned upon within his tribe. But while most males could expect to maintain a certain level of "specialness," Baruud's fate was for something else. Only a few years before he was born, another boy was birthed. The two grew up not only as the greatest of friends, but also the greatest of rivals. For amongst their people, one of the boys would grow to lead the tribe. Only one. So it was that one day Ganondorf challenged Baruud to a duel to determine once and for all who would lead the people to freedom and prosperity. While a hard fought bout it was, Baruud simply could not equal the power, strength, and cunning of his friend. As penalty for his loss in the match, Baruud was cast out of the Gerudo desert and set to wander the surrounding lands looking for his place in the world.

So it was that he traveled to the Great Bay and met with an offshoot group of his people living as pirates. Baruud once again found himself set above other Gerudo simply for being born a man. He began to get comfortable amongst the raiders, having to do little actual pirating himself and spending his time as the companion of their leader, Aveil. After a few months Baruud grew paranoid that Aveil was growing tired of him and so he set out to prove that he was a valuable member of the crew. When the time came to actually steal a nameless bundle from a group of Zora refugees though, he found he could not take from those who had so little. Beaten and mocked by his former crew Baruud found himself once again wandering without purpose. Perhaps he could find a way to help those who could not help themselves....

Name: Gier Durst
Race: Twili
Affinity: Wisdom

Hearts: I I I

Virtue: Mercy
Flaw: Selfishness
Something that makes your character special: He's ridiculously wealthy and rich.
Something important your character lost: His love.
Distinguishing visual quality: Gier has a fake left eye. It is a glass eye that has a golden iris.

Gier Durst was beckoned to Hyrule by the sight of a beautiful girl. Long flowing locks of crimson hair. Eyes the color of emeralds, and a voice as soft and gentle as night's shadow.

However after meeting the beauty that had captured his heart, he found that she did not care for him. Saying that since he had not a rupee to his name, he held no value for her. Stranded in Hyrule and no longer welcomed in the Twilight Realm, Gier took his love's words to heart and began to utilize his knack for the shadows for material gain.

Embedding himself in Hyrule's financial system, Gier had made a name for himself as a go to man for financial acquisitions and espionage. Within the banking system and feuding merchant families of Hyrule, he is something of a financial mercenary. Discretely working to help advance the causes and careers of the families and guilds that hire him without them having to deal with the pesky annoyances of laws and regulations. Gier is willing to do any job from stealing, to fraud, to blackmail so long as he is paid his due.

A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission   A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission I_icon_minitimeWed Feb 13, 2013 12:44 am

Name: Tilo
Race: Zora
Hearts: <3 <3 <3
Wisdom

It was forseen that the Mad King was to rise to power, so a few Zora's founded an encampment a not so small way outside of the Great Bay. They named it Zoranea. These Zora's decided they were better off staying out of the Mad King's way, and children there are brought up not knowing of the world outside. Two of those founding Zora's were Tilo's grandparents. In Tilo's early days of exploring, he realized that there had to be something outside the town; there were too many fish swimming by for there not to be. He was only 7 years old when he strayed a bit too far out of town and got swept away in a strong current. He must have hit his head on a rock, because he woke up on the shore of the Great Bay very near to a fishing village. Most of the citizens were, understandably, surprised to see a Zora. The older citizens started hiring Tilo to do odd jobs, like mouse catching, etc., but when the pirates attacked, he knew he must have been sent here for a particular reason...

// In case I didn't make it clear, Tilo is still only 7 or 8.

Virtue: Tilo is very curious, but can usually intuit things that would directly injure him.
Flaw: Tilo doesn't know much outside of Zoranea, so everything is new and interesting to him.
Special: Tilo doesn't know about the Mad King, and so is not afraid of him.
Lost: Tilo lost everything he knew in Zoranea.
Visual: Tilo is a bright shade of red over most of his body.

A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission   A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission I_icon_minitimeWed Feb 13, 2013 12:54 am

Name: Auzra Sorcier
Race: Hylian
Affinity: Power

Auzra was born into his occupation: his father was a fortune teller in Kakariko
and his mother was a witch's daughter whose hovel lay outside the city. The citizens of Kakariko village would turn to his parents both for tales of legends long passed and arcane handiwork; from potions to palm-reading, the Sorciers are a defined and proud lot.
Although Auzra has never cast a spell his parents have told him stories of old days and faraway places, and he can spin stories so fantastically it becomes difficult to believe he wasn't present in them himself.
When the Hylians set up logging camps in the lost woods, his grandmother begged his mother to go with her to try and protest for the forestfolk. They haven't been seen since.
Following the disappearance of his mother, his father received visions of great wickedness befalling Death Mountain. He took up his adventuring gear and headed off, promising to return in the coming days... three days after there was another uprising in the Goron capital. The toll was paid in blood and death, and Auzra insists that his father is likely still alive in the city, perhaps a slave taken with the gorons... but in his dreams he has seen the frightened look on his father's face and felt the spear rip through his own chest as vividly as his father did in his final moments.

Greatest virtue: Makes his own judgements; isn't swayed by others
Greatest flaw: Curiosity, particularly for the arcane and items of a historical nature
Special character trait: Gets visions, can occasionally 'force' one to happen... but no guarantee of usefulness
Something lost: His crystal ball, a family heirloom.
Distinguishing visual quality: Usually robed, finds walking sticks, young man of 21.

A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission   A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission I_icon_minitimeWed Feb 13, 2013 5:52 pm

Name: Tyalen Jr
Race: Rito
Affinity: Power

Found outside a ranch in Hyrule field as a fledgling inside the gauntlet of what its discoverer has dubbed the "clawshot", Tyalen was raised by the ranch owner's daughter. The inside of the gauntlet had the inscription "Never forget the greatness that you come from. Bear this device as evidence of your lineage. Be nothing but proud that you are" the rest of the inscription had been worn away with time, but a roughly scratched inscription below it read "Just know that I do love you, and I hope you find your way home. -Tyalen I" which inspired Tyalen Jr. to take the name as well as the suffix, Jr. The young woman who found the gauntlet and the weed garden she kept in an unused shed taught Tyalen that all life, no matter how it looks, is worth at least trying to save.

Tyalen has come to believe that the race who made the clawshot is capable of flying and uses the device to gain altitude and for wide-angle maneuvering. Believing this knowledge is the key to finding family, or at least whoever made the device, and maybe some answers. Based on that, Tyalen decided to leave the ranch and his adoptive mother behind to find family, or maybe answers, or perhaps just a reason for being.

Greatest virtue: Kind; tries to make everyone happy
Greatest flaw: Meek; tends to clam up in the face of stress, especially when people argue.
Special character trait: Owns a claw shot inherited from ancient times through mysterious lineage.
Something lost: History, family
Distinguishing visual quality: Absolute androgyny and a stripe of golden, cerulean-tipped feathers on the edge of each wing.

A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission   A Shadow Over Hyrule - Character Submission I_icon_minitimeFri Feb 15, 2013 1:02 am

Name Mikay Rushwater
Race Zora
Courage

A brief story:
Mikay was always talented. No matter what he put himself to he always managed to succeed so easily. Whether it was music, fighting, archery, machines, he always just had a knack. In the small town of Rushwater Mikay was well known, as close as it came to celebrity. He had a high placing in the town guard, his band The Rapids were a hit every time they performed, he even made some extra rupees on the side creating robotic gadgets. Life was happy and good for as long as he could remember. No one in the town knew when the king of Hyrule seized the throne, or when things in the empire started to grow darker. Things in Rushwater were still good and in their seclusion they were unaware of events unfolding in the outside world, but when the Hyrulean army arrived they knew. While their homes and crops burned they learned of the mad kings rise. They experienced first hand the greed of the nobility. Mikay fought in those first battles. Even after his town was ash he found his way to the main Zora forces and stood with them. His natural skills made him a feared force in battle, but in the end their efforts were in vain. In the end the Zora forces lay in an ocean of their own blood, and the survivors scattered to the winds.
None of the Hyrulean soldiers noticed that Mikay was still alive as they cleared the field after the last battle. They simply threw him into the water with the rest. When he awoke, washed up on a rock near the shore, missing his right eye and arm, scarred and broken he swore the Zora empire would be avenged. He swore that the Hyrulean king would taste vengeance. It took several months of scavenging, picking off lone guardsmen in the night, raiding supply wagons, and spilling Hyrulean blood at every turn before Mikay met up with the resistance. By the time they found him he was barely aware anymore, lost in a haze of blood and revenge. They found him crouched amid a group of dead Hyrulean soldiers. They were tipped off to his presence by the quiet chimes of a small music box. When they entered the clearing he attacked them without thought, but before any were slain he realized that they were not soldiers of the mad king. He relented to being taken to their camp though he could not give up the sword that was formed from the robotic arm he had constructed throughout the months.
The resistance leaders were shocked to hear of his tales, and saddened to hear of the defeat of the Zora. Little had been heard of them once their land had been declared a playground for the nobles. Mikay immediately joined the rebels, knowing he could kill more Hyrulean soldiers with their help than alone. The resistance found his skill in battle to be an incredible asset, even if his blood lust was unsettling. They avoided him as much as they could, especially when his dark moods came upon him and the screams and sounds of breaking could be heard from his tent. Yet when they hear the news that Queen Runa would traversing territory within their reach they knew Mikay would be on the front line.
A small group of the most skilled fighters the resistance could muster were to make the strike to capture the queen, while the rest caused a distraction to draw forces from her escort. They were not prepared for the overwhelming skill of her guard. Most of the resistance members were slain in moments, but Mikay still managed to get his robotic hand on the door to her carriage. He barely saw the huge shadow in time to jerk away. He was not prepared for the unnatural speed of the hulking attacker and its hammer smashed through his arm. Mikay knew he had no chance to defeat this foe, he barely escaped with his life. He was the only member of the strike team to stumble back to the camp and find the decimated forces of the resistance. Many were slain by the forces that countered their distraction. Now the battered Mikay and the remnants of the resistance cell must try to rebuild and stay ahead of the Hyrulean forces that are now hunting them in the hopes of wiping them out once and for all.

Physical description:
Mikay is tall, in the upper limits of Zoran height. His body is corded with tight muscle and he carries barely any fat, partially from his constant fighting, partially to a shortness of food. His skin is dark gray but marred with numerous scars. The left fin is missing off his headtail as well as right arm fin due to his arm being missing. It makes it particularly difficult for him to swim. His eyes are a pale blue almost silver. He covers his right eye and most of his headtail with segmented plate armor of his own design. His right arm has been replaced with a robotic one that was heavily damaged in his most recent skirmish. Its many functions have been disabled and now only the abnormally long fingers and small music player in the wrist still function. Unlike most Zora Mikay wears clothing. He wears heavy leather garb with numerous plates of armor scavenged from the battlefield attached to it.

Basic behaviors:
Mikay is very quiet and withdrawn. He tends to be abrasive normally, but when he enters one of his melancholy moods he can be openly aggressive and cruel. He tends to withdraw during these times to avoid alienating those around him.

Things I require for your characters:
-Greatest virtue: Natural born warrior.
-Greatest flaw: Bouts of intense melancholy.
- Something that makes your character special: His robotic arm.
- Something important your character lost: The Zora homelands. His arm.
- A distinguishing visual quality: His robotic arm. His missing eye. Numerous scars. Dark coloration.

3 hearts
Player name: Billy
Character name: Zair
Wolf
Power

Back story:
Zair is part of a pack inhabiting the Lost Woods. Zair was only a pup at the time the Mad King started attacking the Woods. As the Mad King started having the Lost Woods destroyed, his pack went to defend it's home and was completely eradicated save himself. He stayed next to the bodies of his dead pack until Skull Kids found him. They raised him as one of their own and found he was different from any other wolf. He was much larger and was far more intelligent. As he grew they noticed a mark on his right hind leg the was blood red. As he continued to get older, he got more and more intelligent, even to the point he could hold conversations by writing sentences in the dirt or on scrolls. He learned the ways of the Skull Kids, and for all intensive purposes, became one.

Things I require for your characters:
- Protective
- No experience of the world outside of the Lost Woods, all physical limitations of wolves.
- Bares a mark that is clearly of a deity, but it is unclear of which
- Pack and is currently losing his home
- Blood Red mark on his hind leg
